About this Site
This Web site was created as part of ongoing public information efforts by the Florida Department of Children and Families and the Florida Governor’s Office of Drug Control. The Web site is designed to provide information that will support drug-free children, families and communities.
Our goal is to be a portal to a range of other Web sites offering up-to-date facts and tips designed for young people and their parents, as well as to showcase media campaigns developed for use by Florida’s Drug-Free Communities Coalitions and other organizations.
Research shows people tend to change their behavior based on factual information and positive examples. We want Florida’s youth to have information that will help them choose to live free of alcohol and illicit substances. We also want parents to have timely information that will support their efforts to raise drug-free children.
